Hello, my name is Theresa Tran, I am a student at SkyView Academy for two years, this year would be my third year. I like to draw, play the piano, read and listen to music. I don’t speak too loudly so please bear with me on that one, one can’t simply change the way they act overnight. I just turned 14 on August 2nd. I look forward to doing the best I can this year and the next several years to come. The subject I am most anticipating for this year is Biology, because I want to become a Pediatrician in the future. Hopefully I will be able to become one in the future! Some of my favorite piano arrangements are My Soul Your Beats arr. by Animenz and My Dearest, my favorite song(The lyrics are beautifully written). There are two piano versions of My Dearest that I like, Animenz and Theishter, I can’t choose!
I have three favorite colors, black, white, and red. I like black and white because they are the opposite of each other, but need each other in order to balance, like Yin and Yang. Whereas I also like the color red because it is the color of fate. I am in a family of six, me being the second oldest. My parents are from Vietnam, they escaped after the Vietnam War ended. I have two favorite flowers, the lotus and the forget-me-not. I like the lotus because it represents purity, devotion and passion. I also like the forget-me-not because of the meaning: “Remember me forever.”Overall, I look forward to this school year in hopes that it would be a great year. Thank you very much for your time.

I am fascinated by the symbolic flowers you mentioned in your post. You remind me of the lotus. Don’t be ashamed of the volume of your voice. It is obvious that you have powerful things to say, so others will listen to you.

Your want to be a pediatrician is noble and interesting. I think anything that has to do with medicine is difficult but rewarding. Why do you want to be a pediatrician? Of all the fields in medicine, why does that interest you the most? Good luck in your studies and future!

Thank you very much! I’m going to need that in this specific type of field. I want to become a pediatrician because I want to help little children, their lives are very fragile at such a young age. They are like little petals that are on your hand, you’re trying to prevent them from falling, protecting them from the wind. In order to protect them, you cover them up and put it close to your chest, close to where your heart is. Something happened in the past that made me want to prevent any other children from utterly terrible situations. I wouldn’t want them to feel a loss, to feel a hole in their heart. That is why I want to become a pediatrician. I feel like I’m not wanting to become a pediatrician just for me, but for the benefit of other people as well. I wish I could say more but if I do that it would be more than just two paragraphs, so I’m going to leave it at just this. I hope this would answer your question!

Hey Theresa! Great first entry! You did an awesome job 🙂 I think it’s so cool that you want to be a pediatrician. You’re going to do wonderful things when you grow up. Also, it’s pretty interesting how your parents escaped from the Vietnam War and came over here to the US.
